Solar Reverse Osmosis Desalination

Thanks to the GeniusRO system engenieered and developed by Genius Watter, the farmers of the Varandinha Associa- tion will have much more water than is currently available, properly desalinated and filtered, stored in special tanks and made available at any time of the day.

The supply of desalinated water will put an end to the phenomenon of “soil contamination” caused by the use of brack- ish water which lasted many decades.
The solar desalination plant will provide farmers with double the amount of desalinated water, (approximately 60 m3 / day), which will allow them to cultivate twice the land they currently till.

In addition, a quantity of about 20m3/day of potable desalinated water will be supplied for the local community of 250 people. This amount will be three times higher than what is currently provided, thus providing the village population (above 60 families) with a great benefit for their health and hygiene.
Genius Watter cutdown the current water prices, from 14.55€/m3 (5.43 subsidized) to € 4,07/m3, ensuring a flat tariff for 20 years.
